Number of milk products recalled over the presence of harmful bacteria




A leading dairy provider has been forced to issue a recall for a number of milk products amid health and safety fears.

It is understood that Arrabawn Co-op have recalled a number of products following the discovery of Enterobacteriaceae bacteria.

Arrabawn say the following brands are affected Arrabawn Fresh Milk, Homefarm Fresh Milk, Gala Fresh Milk, Spar Fresh Milk, Mace Fresh Milk and Clonbawn Fresh Milk.

They also say the affected products have a use by date of October 26th.

Arrabawn say stores across the country have begun to remove the products from their shelves and anyone who may have purchased the above mentioned products can avail of a refund from the store they purchased the product.
