We are reaching levels of hypocrisy in this country that shouldn’t even be possible. After the PC brigade took advantage of a faux pax by George Hook and tried to insinuate that the 76-year-old broadcast journalist had tried to justify or apologise for rape, as retribution for Hook repeatedly rebuking their ultra-liberal dogma, a genuine insult to survivors of rape and an affront to democracy and free speech took place. However, the silence from the perpetually outraged and insufferable politically correct loud mouths was deafening.
When a pro-life group “Unbroken Ireland” an organization made up of women who have either survived rape or were conceived through rape wanted to utilize the right to free speech this was too much for the “progressives” of liberal Ireland. The hotel that was hosting the event was forced to cancel due allegedly to threats.
These hypocrites revealed themselves when they refused to speak up and defend the inalienable rights of these brave women, in fact many of the simply poured more scorn on them mostly via social media like the cowards they are.
This kind of shameful behaviour by the “Abortion on Demand” crowd is nothing new and more is to be expected over the next several months leading to the referendum. Of course, just days before the incident with the hotel a shower of shams known as “Trinity Before Profit”, with warped fantasies about Che Guevara, put photos on the FaceBook page of them allegedly, illegally, taking down posters promoting the even.
Now we return to the case of George Hook, any sensible person who has since listened to the recording and has an ounce of honesty and modicum of intelligence can see that these hysterical claims are total nonsense. Yet this didn’t stop the hysterics of those who would see not only the careers but the lives of those who dare to think or speak different from them destroyed. Yet these pathetic bullies are silent when there is real threat to women and rape survivors.
