Organiser of today’s anti-lockdown protest in Cork says he’s bringing his grandchildren to it and that people should socially distance at the protest




An organiser of today’s anti-lockdown protest in Cork says that he intends on bringing his grandchildren to the event.

The People’s Convention organiser Diarmuid O Cadhla was interviewed by Virgin Media News and said that it’s not rocket science for people to be able to quite easily socially distance themselves at today’s protest.

The calmly spoken gentleman said that the organisers had asked anyone with symptoms to stay away from the protest.

It’s understood that gardai have a major operation underway to ensure that today’s anti-lockdown protest passes without incident.

Meanwhile, there’s been major opposition to the protest taking place at all with some saying they fear there could be violence.
