According to recent figures which have been released by the Gardai, over 35,000 drivers have been caught speeding in Dublin so far this year.
The news comes as a death of a motorcyclist in Drimnagh on Thursday brings to 18 the number of people who have lost their lives on the capital’s road since January.
Gardai say that the hours between 12pm and 2pm on Fridays are considered the deadliest.
