Overcrowding at Irish hospitals keeps hitting record highs, as 663 people were waiting for a bed as of this morning.

There were 655 patients languishing on trolleys yesterday.

Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly maintains his trademark hands-off approach on the issue, only surfacing at the end of the month to collect his salary.
