The Chief Executive of the HSE Paul Reid has said younger people have influenced and shaped the country for the better as Covid-19 vaccination rate has passed 90% for those aged 16 and over.
In a tweet Reid said: “Younger people have influenced & shaped this country for the better on many occasions over the past few years.”
“They have done so again. Now over 90% of those aged 16 & over have been fully vaccinated. The highest uptake in the EU.”
