Petrol- and diesel-powered cars will not be sold in the UK from 2030, the British Prime Minister has confirmed.
The phasing out of petrol and diesel engines in cars had originally been scheduled for 2040, but it has now been brought forward ten years.
The move is part of a larger initiative to clean Britain’s air of pollutants and reach zero emissions by 2050.
