Following the release of the new €5, €10 and €20 note The European Central Bank has today unveiled the new €50 banknote.
The new note the fourth to come into circulation will not be introduced until 4 April 2017.
The new €50 note part the Europa series, is being introduced as part an ongoing operation to cut out counterfeiting of older Euro notes.
