One lucky Dublin native is €30,000 richer this week after they won the rather handsome sum of €30k after they placed a €10 national lottery bet over the weekend.
It is understood that the bet was placed in a Boylesports bookmarkers in south-east Co Dublin. Boylesports say the lucky punter placed €10 on two sets of four numbers for all three draws, bringing the total cost of the bet up to €60. However the lucky punter who wishes to remain anonymous amazingly defied the odds 3000/1 when numbers 2, 17, 27 and 33 were drawn in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday night to earn themselves a whopping €30,010 return on their €60 stake.
