Police authorities in the US state of Florida have launched an investigation today after a five year old died as a result of a gunshot wound he sustained to the head.
According to media reports in Orange County, the young boy named Judah Todman tragically died after he shot himself inside the family car on Tuesday afternoon.
It is understood the boy was fatally wounded in the incident which occurred at 3:57pm in a car park.
Police say the young boy was found “mortally wounded” and taken to the nearby Florida Hospital East where he was sadly died a short time later.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
