Dunnes Stores and Aldi have issued urgent recall notices for a range of salad products, due to possible contamination with Listeria.
The following products are affected:
240g Aldi Specially Selected baby potato with bacon salad with use-by dates of April 13, 2018 and April 18, 2018.
175g Dunnes Stores chicken, bacon and sweetcorn deli filler with use-by dates of April 13, 2018 and April 20, 2018.
Routine testing revealed that some of these products may be contaminated with Listeria, which may lead to serious illness -including meningitis in rare cases- if consumed.
Customers are advised to discard these products immediately.
