Although the new changes are not expected to be implemented until later this year and early next year, pub and club owners in the sector North of the border will now be given the opportunity to serve alcohol until 3am.
Under the new legislation larger establishments will be allowed to serve alcohol until 2am, whilst smaller pubs will be allowed to serve drink until 1am for 104 days in the year.
