Rainfall warning in effect for Galway, Cork, and Kerry

It’s wet out there this morning, folks.

There is a rainfall warning currently in effect for counties Galway, Cork, and Kerry.

Over 25mm of rain is forecast to fall, with the possibility of up to 40mm in places. Local flooding is likely in low areas.

The overall forecast is for a rather wet and unsettled weekend, so keep your umbrella handy.

The rainfall warning will remain in effect until midday today.
