Rescue crews are again combing an area of the River Nore in Kilkenny searching for a man who entered the water at around 1:30am on Sunday morning.
The 33-year-old man was walking near the riverbank when he fell in near Canice’s Mill in Thomastown.
Gardai and water rescue teams have focused their search on an area between Inistioge and Thomastown.
