Revolut launches loyalty points scheme for users in Ireland

Ireland-based digital bank Revolut has introduced a debit card loyalty scheme for its clientele, reports Breaking News.

Customers may use the RevPoints programme to convert their purchases into airline miles and savings on experiences, lodging, and travel.

According to the bank, Irish consumers may transfer their RevPoints to over 30 airline loyalty schemes, such as Flying Blue from Air France/KLM, reports Breaking News.

Revolut Pay users who purchase online may now use their points to receive discounts at Irish stores including O’Neills and DID Electrical.

Revolut stated that customers can earn up to one point for every euro spent, depending on their plan.

Revolut customers in seven European regions have redeemed approximately 120 million points and accrued over 1 billion RevPoints since the trial’s inception in September 2023.

The digital banking app made an attempt last month to undercut traditional lenders by providing higher-yielding savings accounts to Irish consumers, reports Breaking News.

Customers based in Ireland may now earn up to 3.49 percent interest annually on their savings thanks to the company’s instant-access savings function, which was introduced on the platform.

Revolut’s general manager of lifestyle goods, Christopher Guttridge, stated that the bank aimed to assist customers in getting greater value for their money, reports Breaking News.
