The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, following the death of a man on the M1 in Dublin this afternoon.
The accident happened between Junction 3 Swords and Junction 4 Donabate shortly before 1pm.
The victim, a man in his 50s who was driving a van, was pronounced dead at the scene. This was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Swords Garda Station on 01 666 4700 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
