RTE have €13 MILLION deficit but Ryan Tubridy was paid close to €41,250 per MONTH

In latest figures released by State broadcaster RTE, the host of the Late Late Show Ryan Tubridy was paid close to €10,000 per WEEK even though the station is in massive financial jeopardy.

RTE have announced that they’ve a €13 MILLION deficit, even though they get massive money in from the hard-earned cash from the taxpayer for the TV licence.

The broadcaster has been denounced by social media users who are claiming that they’ll refuse to pay any increment in the licence fee as many people say that they no longer watch RTE television.

Top of the list is Ryan Tubridy on €495,000 with a breakdown of €41,250 PER MONTH.

He’s closely followed by Ray D’Arcy who pocketed €450,000 after getting a €50,000 bonus, no less.

Joe Duffy takes those calls on a daily basis for a staggering €389,988 per year while Sean O’Rourke is on the radio for €308,964 – an increase of €18,000.

Miriam O’Callaghan can afford plenty of holidays when she’s off as she got a whopping €299,000!

Claire Byrne is in seventh place pulling in a lovely €216,000 in 2016 – an increase of €13,500.

RTE’s Director General said that everything is on the table to make up the €13 million deficit, including a possible increase of the TV licence fee.
