Anti-lockdown protesters say that they’ve had enough and are conducting a total of six protests around Dublin City Centre today.
Organisers say that “RTE is the virus” and that they’ve propelled the “madness of lockdowns”.
This is yet just another protest to be held outside the national broadcaster as before Christmas, a large scale garda operation was undertaken outside the RTE studios in Donnybrook, Dublin 4 during the Late Late Show. We’ll have further footage later today.
Chants of “RTE is fake news” and “the gardai are the new black and tans” resounded as the Late Late Show took place.
The protest took place outside RTE over the national broadcaster’s coverage of the coronavirus, including tonight’s Late Late Show,
Protesters were not happy that Jedward are on tonight’s Late Late Show and also Dr Fauci talking about covid-19. Gardai remain at the scene. Take a look at some of the footage below:
