Russian military recruiters are reportedly offering hefty salaries to migrant workers if they sign up to die in Ukraine.
This tactic also serves to avoid sending Russian citizens to the slaughter, which would likely foster internal dissent across Russia.
Poor migrant workers with zero military experience are being offered £1,890 as a sign-up bonus, and salaries of up to £3,290 a month, an absolute fortune for these people. The only downside is that those who sign up are likely to die with their pockets full of money just hours after arriving in Ukraine.
