Ryanair warns of higher fares over the next 24 months as recession and high fuel prices take their toll




Ryanair is today warning of higher fares over the next 24 months, fears of an economic recession and high fuel prices take their toll.

According to Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary, air fares are likely to be noticeably higher during 2023 and 2024, due to a combination of factors.

Mr. O’Leary added that Ryanair’s new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft are fuel efficient and will help to maintain the airline’s profits.
