The desperate search to rescue 5 men trapped aboard a submersive deep underwater came to a tragic end today, with the news that the craft was involved in a “catastrophic implosion” that probably killed all 5 instantly.
According to the Daily Mail, lumps of debris were found near the ruins of the Titanic, the shipwreck that the men had been hoping to visit. It is thought that they most likely died on Sunday, meaning that reports of emergency “banging” sounds in the water may have been mistaken.
Plans are now underway to try and locate any human remains but experts say that this is very unlikely, due to the atmosphere and pressure in the deep water where the Titanic lies.
