A search operation has taken place in the Kerry mountains after a hiker had gotten lost yesterday evening.
It’s thought that the woman herself raised the alarm after she got lost while walking on Mangerton Mountain.
A number of volunteers took part in the operation but poor visibility is said to have halted the search efforts. It is not yet known if the woman has been found.
