A second fuel depot has gone up in flames in Russia-occupied Crimea.
This time, the target was a refinery near the village of Volna, which is near the key Kerch Bridge linking the Crimean Peninsula with the Russian mainland.
Though no one has claimed responsibility for the action, partisan activity or a drone strike are likely behind this attack.
Ukraine is methodically destroying key Russian targets ahead of an expected counter-offensive in the coming weeks. By depriving Russian assets of fuel and other vital supplies, as well as causing trail derailments, Ukraine can ensure that no reinforcements are sent to the frontlines once the operation gets underway.
