Around 1am this morning, gardai were called to a house inn Beechwood Drive, Marley’s Lane Drogheda with a report of gunshots being fired.
It’s understood a number of shots were fired at a house in the estate shortly before 1am.
A woman and her 12-year-old grandson escaped injury in the incident at the house at the time.
Three men are currently held and being questioned at Drogheda Garda Station in relation to the incident.
