A 29 year old man has been arrested arrested by police after he superglued his two month old daughter’s eyes and mouth shut in a sick attempt to stop her from crying.
The horrific incident which has now led to a police investigation also seen the infants father Johnnie Lee Carter, 29, cover his daughter with a pile of pillows at a hotel room in Odessa, Texas.
According to the WQAD newspaper, the sickening incident was uncovered after local police were called to domestic disturbance at hotel.
It is alleged by the newborn’s that Carter carried out the act after he lost his temper when the baby girl started crying.
The baby girl’s mother claims that Carter stared beating their child by hitting her on the head and ribs.
However as the baby girl kept crying a violent Carter then decided to use Crazy Glue to shut her eyes and mouth, before placing a pile of pillows and blankets on top of her.
The sick brute who was arrested on Monday in El Paso, then fled the scene after local authorities were called in to investigate a domestic disturbance.
Following a 15 day manhunt Carter was arrested by police 270 miles in El Paso on Monday.
Police say Carter has been given a felony charge of causing serious bodily injury to a child.
It is also believed that Odessa Police Department are currently negotiating with El Paso police authorities in order to extradite Carter back to Odessa.
