Customs officers have scored a major seizure of illegal cigarettes at Dublin Port, after uncovering €4m worth of the merchandise hidden in a 45 foot container labelled as ‘tractor parts.’
Casey the dog also had a part to play in the finding, as it helped uncovering the contraband.
Altogether, nine million cigarettes with an estimated value of over €4.6m were seized.
