Status Yellow low temperature warning issued along with ice warnings




A Status Yellow warning for low temperatures and ice has been issued by Met Éireann for the entire country in the upcoming hours, reports RTE.

The warning will come into effect at 5 PM today and will remain in effect until midday on Friday.

In many areas, temperatures are expected to drop below -3 degrees, leading to frost and ice which will make traveling difficult, reports RTE.

Antrim, Down, and Derry in Northern Ireland have been issued a Yellow Ice warning by the Met Office between 5 PM today and 10 AM on Friday.

Met Éireann has also issued a Status Yellow warning for low temperatures on Friday evening to Saturday, with very cold conditions resulting in widespread frost and fog, including freezing fog, reports RTE.

This warning will take effect at 5 PM on Friday and will remain in effect until Saturday midday.
