A Status Yellow warning for strong winds will kick in shortly for four counties.
The warning, which covers counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, and Galway, will kick in at 1pm and remain in effect until 9pm.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience windspeeds of up to 110km/h.
