Storm Babet: Met Office issues Red Warning to parts of Scotland due to possible ‘danger to life’ conditions brought on by storm system

The Met Office has issued a Red Warning to parts of Scotland due to possible ‘danger to life’ conditions brought on by the storm system.

According to the agency, there’ll likely be flooding incidents of private residences and businesses across some northern areas of the UK, which may lead to some locations becoming isolated and inaccessible for a time.

The Met Office says that some areas might see up to 150mm of rain in a matter of hours.
