Fresh calls this bank holiday weekend for 30-yr-old Minister for Health Simon Harris to hang up the boots and resign.
The Magdalene Survivors Together group is calling on Harris to leave immediately.
According to RED FM, they want Harris to resign over plans to build the new National Maternity Hospital on the St Vincent’s Hospital Campus.
There have been much debate over the proposed new hospital with no full plan implemented. It remains to be seen whether Harris will reconsider his position and leave his position as Minister for Health for someone else to take over. The question remains; is there anyone who can fix the mess that is the health service in Ireland?
