In a fiercely contested All-Ireland final in Croke Park this afternoon, Tipperary have done the impossible by beating Kilkenny.
The Kilkenny Cats were aiming for “3-in-a-row” as the signs in the crowd say, whereas Tipp were trying to claim victory for the first time since 2010.
A tight first half saw Tipp lead, but a Kilkenny goal pushed the Cats in front.
However numerous more points and two goals a piece saw Tipperary win 2-29 to 2-20.
