Tragic news emerged last evening from New York as a 21-yr-old Irishman has sadly died following an assault outside an Irish pub in the city.
It’s understood that he was punched by another male and fell to the ground. He died in hospital a short time later.
The man who hit the unidentified Irishman is said to have fled on foot from the pub.
American authorities are working with Irish authorities and the man’s family.
