Gardaí in Co Roscommon have confirmed that a 5-year-old boy has died following an accident on a farm on Sunday.
It is understood the boy sadly passed away after he fell from a trailer on a farm in Tulsk.
Gardaí say the boy was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
Meanwhile the Health and Safety Authority have confirmed that they are investigating the incident.
