Gardaí in Dublin have sadly confirmed that a man has died in a workplace accident.
It is understood the man was killed in the accident which occurred on Southbank Quay in Ringsend at approximately 9am on Wednesday morning.
Gardaí say the Health and Safety Authority have been informed of the incident and they have begun an investigation.
