Sad news this morning, as a young motorist has sadly lost his life in an early morning road crash.
The incident happened just after 4am this morning, when a car veered off the road and crashed into a ditch in Murroe, Cappamore, Co. Limerick.
There were two occupants in the car. A man believed to be in his early 20s sadly died. The second occupant was rushed to University Hospital Limerick.
The road remains closed to facilitate a technical examination.
