
A man has died after being struck by a bus in Bray, Co Wicklow, on Thursday.
The collision happened on Station Road shortly before 6:00pm, reports Breaking News.
The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital with serious injuries.
He later died from those injuries on Friday evening, reports Breaking News.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course.
A technical examination of the scene has also been completed, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, and were in the Station Road area of Bray between 5:40pm and 6:10pm are asked to provide it to investigating gardaÃ, reports Breaking News.
