Northern Ireland motorcyclist Davy Morgan was tragically killed during the Isle of Man TT on Monday, becoming the third rider to die in this year’s competition.

The 52-yr-old veteran driver crashed at milestone 27 of the third and final lap of the course, often cited as the world’s most dangerous road race.

Event organisers sadly confirmed his death “with a heavy heart” and sent their condolences to his partner Trudy, family and friends.

Morgan, who has competed in TT for 20 years, had considered stepping away from the sport before the pandemic, but the lockdown break made him realize how much he loved it.
