A man from Kilkenny has died after deep sea diving in Norway, reports Breaking News.
Daniel O’Brien, 33, is from Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny.
According to unofficial information, the tragic event occurred on Thursday evening.
Mr. O’Brien is a former member of the Air Corps and served as an aeronautical engineer. He left behind his parents, Fiachra and Pauline, and brothers, Ciaran and Tommy, reports Breaking News.
An experienced water sportsman successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean.
He was known as “self-effacing man about his amazing sporting achievements,” said a local man who knew him well, reports Breaking News.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was contacted for comment.
