The shooter in Saturday night’s assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a campaign event has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, reports Sky.
Crooks, who was described as a “outcast” and frequently wore hunting gear to school, resided in a wealthy city about an hour away from the location of his assassination attempt.
Bomb-making materials, according to investigators, were discovered in a car at his house, reports Sky.
About seven hours after the shooting, Thomas Matthew Crooks was identified by the FBI.
According to law authorities, Crooks was 20 years old and from Bethel Park, a largely white, rather affluent community in the southern region of the greater Pittsburgh area.
Butler, the rally’s location, is approximately one hour’s drive north of Pittsburgh, reports Sky.
