The US President Donald Trump has reportedly stepped up his plans to introduce stricter vetting protocols for those looking to enter the US.
President Trump who was responding to Tuesday’s terrorist attack in New York said new measures are already being put in place by homeland security.
In a brief Tweet on Tuesday night Mr Trump said: “I have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this!”
It is thought that the devastating attack which killed eight innocent people will further intensify the President’s plans to introduce the strict new programme which he has been campaigning for since the past year.
