In a masterclass of “how it’s done”, Kilkenny demolished Galway in the second half of the All Ireland today.
A close first half saw Galway come out of the blocks with some early and easy scores. Kilkenny kept in touch but were down 3 points going into the last 35 minutes.
TJ Reid of Kilkenny said “It’s just unbelievable. We knew our first half wasn’t good enough, so we had to up our game which we did. We had the belief and we knew we could do it.”
Brian Cody has motivated the team to keep winning and they’re set to continue in 2016 again.
The final score was Kilkenny 1 – 22 to Galway 1 – 18.
