Two teenagers have been arrested following the death of a 14-year-old girl who was hit by a car.
The incident happened on Blackbrook Road, St. Helen’s, shortly before 10pm on Saturday evening.
The 14-year-old girl was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Two male teenagers, aged 19 and 18 respectively, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
