There are emerging reports of Russian troops ditching their uniforms and stealing people’s cars to head for the border and escape Ukraine’s army.
Vanguard Ukrainian units have also reported half-eaten meals left behind by Russian troops fleeing for their lives in a hurry. Frontline reports said that in many areas, Ukrainian assets were able to enter towns and villages unopposed.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky trolled the fleeing soldiers by praising them for running away so fast.
The counter-offensive has so far retaken some 3,000 sq. km. of occupied territory, including key towns like Balakliya, Izyum, and Kupyansk.
