Russia has caved in and agreed to a 24h-long ceasefire as its invasion of Ukraine stalls in the face of fierce Ukrainian resistance.
The Ukrainian military has inflicted grievous losses on its opponents thus far, with reports of up to 12,000 Russian casualties. Russia has also lost a number of top officers in the field, plus hundreds of vehicles, helicopters, jet fighters, and war materiel.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly becoming unstable as Russia’s campaign in Ukraine peters out and the international community rallies around Ukraine.
