Ukraine’s shopping list for Germany includes Taurus air-to-surface missiles, which are capable of reaching targets up to 500km away.
These weapons would put many targets inside Russia well within striking distance.
Germany is now the second largest purveyor of weaponry for Ukraine, only second to the United States.
Taurus missile systems include electronic countermeasures for self-defence, and can deliver a 481 kg warhead to hardened targets such as command bunkers, ammunition depots, and bridges, among many others.
