A university lecturer has been arrested in Norway on suspicion of espionage for Russia.
According to local law enforcement agencies, the man had entered the country under a false identity and was posing as a Brazilian researcher. Security services have reason to believe this person is an undercover Russian asset.
The person was arrested in the city of Tromso, in the country’s far north.
