There’s been uproar Stateside in the Irish-American community, especially on the east coast where a t-shirt being sold in Walmart is being seen as “anti Irish”.
The t-shirt is being sold on Walmart’s website and is aimed at people going out celebrating the St. Patrick’s Day festivities.
There’s a number of t-shirts being sold for the Irish market but the one that’s seen as taking particular offence reads “I’m so Irish, my liver hurts” – aiming at the idea that Irish people are very heavy drinkers.
What’s your take on it? Political correct insanity or justified offence?
