About 5,000 people took part in the annual pilgrimage up Croagh Patrick this morning.
The event, commonly known as Reek Sunday, culminates with the celebration of mass at the summit of the 760m high hill.
The benign weather brought people out in their droves. There were no incidents apart from a 46-year-old man who had to be airlifted to hospital after complaining of chest pains.
