I think we can safely say that Conor McGregor’s victory over Jose Aldo Jnr on Saturday night brought a smile to almost every Irish man and women’s face after he floored the Brazilian in the highly anticipated UFC featherweight title bout.
Although i am sure some of you (along with McGregor himself) spared a thought for the Brazilian who lost his 10 year unbeaten streak at the hands of the notorious in front of a raucous crowd in the MGM Grand Las Vegas, but if you haven’t you may well do so now as the UFC have released this video, showing the former champion Aldo struggling to come to terms with the end of his 1,849-day reign as UFC Featherweight champion.
The emotional video shows an inconsolable Aldo being consoled by his team, family and friends as he reflects on his quick defeat.
