Conor McGregor may have had a few words to say about his UFC stake after his historic fight last weekend, and now it seems one of it’s shareholders has listened and is willing to offer ‘The Notorious’ his piece of the profits.
McGregor who demanded talks with majority shareholders after knocking out Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, has seemingly found an ally in none other than Hollywood superstar Mark Wahlberg.
Wahlberg who is one of the company’s 23 celebrity investors, said he is more than happy to share his stake with the double champion.
Wahlberg who was full of praise for the Dubliner, said he would have no problem giving McGregor a share, saying: “Absolutely! As a matter of fact, I’ll give him a piece of mine because he is the face of the UFC right now. “He deserves that.”
Speaking to American gossip site TMZ, he added: “He’s a hustler like me, so there’s probably a lot of opportunities for us to go out and make money together.”
